Description
St. Joseph County is soliciting sealed bids for glazing improvements at the St. Joseph County Building. The work includes removing and disposing of existing single-pane storm glazing, tapes, and stops; cleaning curtainwall framing; replacing damaged exterior curtainwall glazing with wet sealing on the interior and exterior; removing interior rubber or vinyl perimeter gasketing and wet-sealing the former gasket locations; repairing or replacing damaged or missing jamb stops; and applying glazing film to the interior faces of original curtainwall glazing panels. Alternative Bid No. 1 covers reinstalling existing storm glazing panels with new double-sided glazing tape and replacing damaged or incorrectly sized storm panels. Bids must include the provided Bid Form, a non-collusion affidavit, Form 96 of the State Board of Accounts, a financial statement, and a bid bond or certified check of at least 10% of the total bid amount. The successful contractor must provide 100% performance and payment bonds before contract execution. The contractor must enroll newly hired employees in E-Verify and comply with restrictions on contracting with persons engaged in investment activities in Iran.
