Description
The U.S. Space Force is soliciting a firm-fixed-price purchase order for the supply and installation of solar-control and security window film on approximately 158 windows and four half-lite doors, totaling approximately 3,100 square feet, at Buildings 101, 12001, and 12100. The work also includes heavy-duty, commercial-grade opaque roll-up blinds at specified east- and west-facing second-floor office windows in Building 101. The window film must meet location-specific requirements for glare and heat reduction, security, reflectivity, visibility, blast-rated glass compatibility, and preservation of structural silicone and acoustic seals. The contractor must provide labor, materials, equipment, supervision, qualified installers, samples ranging from 10% to 75% visible light transmission, a manufacturer film-to-glass compatibility chart, a factory-certified thermal stress analysis, safety data sheets, cleanup, and required testing and operations-and-maintenance documentation. Work at one location is inside a restricted area and requires authorized personnel and contractor-provided escorts. Quotes must include pricing and lead time for the listed line items, along with technical documentation demonstrating compliance with the Statement of Work.
