Description
The City of Oxnard is seeking an experienced construction management firm to provide construction management and inspection services for the 4th Street Mobility Improvements and Downtown Bus Stop Improvements projects. The roadway scope includes new concrete sidewalks, curb and gutter, road and driveway reconstruction, electrical conduit and pull boxes for street lighting and traffic signals, bus shelters, street furniture, bike lanes, landscaping, irrigation, and striping improvements along 4th Street from C Street to Oxnard Boulevard and along 4th Street and Meta Street to the intersection of Meta Street and 6th Street. Approximately 50 downtown bus stops will also be improved. The solicitation includes requirements related to traffic control, site safety, accident reporting, record keeping, public relations, and coordination with construction activities. The agreement materials identify California licensing and professional certification requirements, prevailing-wage obligations, federal American Rescue Plan Act funding provisions, and insurance requirements including commercial general liability, automobile liability, professional liability/errors and omissions, workers’ compensation, and employer’s liability coverage.
