Description
The project involves furnishing and installing destratification fans at Brighton High School, including electrical power connections, mounting and safety supports, and integration of fan controls with the existing building management system. The design documents specify two fan types, with individual control, and require coordination with existing conditions and the controls contractor. The contractor must provide construction labor and materials, complete related electrical and fire-alarm connections, and submit a construction breakdown, subcontractor list, warranty information, and other required response materials. A bid bond is required for bids over $50,000. A performance and payment bond is required after award for projects of $50,000 or more; it is not due with the proposal. Participation is limited to contractors selected through a prior qualifications process, and attendance at the pre-bid conference is mandatory.
