Description
The Christina School District seeks a general contractor for mechanical renovations at Pulaski Early Education Center. The project includes replacing the existing boiler system and related piping and accessories with a new condensing boiler system, including new gas and plumbing piping, controls, pumps, air separators, expansion tanks, flues, combustion-air ducts, a unit heater, and associated power and lighting. The work also includes demolition, installation, testing, commissioning, and related construction work described in the project specifications. Bids must include a bid security equal to 10 percent of the bid amount plus additive alternates. The successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds, each for 100 percent of the contract price, after award. General contractors must attend the mandatory pre-bid meeting to be eligible to bid.
