Description
Sandy City seeks an architectural firm to provide coordinated professional design services for replacement of City Hall's west stairs, an ADA-compliant pedestrian ramp, a hydronic snowmelt system, and associated landscaping, irrigation, electrical, lighting, and site improvements. The design must address demolition, grading, drainage, utilities, accessibility, safe public access during construction, and Waterwise landscaping principles. The scope includes evaluating existing trees for preservation or removal and coordinating with existing building systems and City standards. Deliverables include preliminary concepts, approximately 60% and 90% design submissions, complete permit-ready and signed-and-sealed bid documents, cost estimates at multiple design milestones, and construction-bidding and construction-phase design support. The architect must provide a fixed lump-sum fee covering the full scope, including coordination meetings, anticipated site visits, and a warranty walk. Final bid-ready construction documents are due February 1, 2027. Construction will be procured separately.
