Description
Sandy City Public Utilities is seeking proposals from professional engineering firms to provide general water and stormwater engineering services during 2027 and 2028. The City intends to select two or more firms for projects with engineering fees under $150,000. Services may include hydraulic and hydrogeologic analyses; water and storm drain design; system modeling; asset management; peer review; construction management and inspection; water-rights support; source development; floodplain management; environmental assessments; and well, pump station, corrosion-protection, and cathodic-protection design and analysis. Consultants may also be asked to attend City meetings and advise on applicable state and federal requirements. The proposal must include firm and team experience, assigned personnel, hourly fee schedules, not-to-exceed estimates for three example projects, five references from related projects completed within the past five years, and examples of technical responses. The proposal is limited to ten pages, excluding resumes and supporting information in an appendix; pricing must be entered in the portal line items and excluded from the proposal document. A certificate of insurance meeting the stated coverage requirements must accompany the proposal. The solicitation also requires completion and signature of Exhibit B, the certification and agreement to proposal conditions.
