Description
The Forest Service seeks a contractor to assess, design, and replace the HVAC system at its Tonasket Ranger Station office. The base work includes removal and disposal of existing equipment; delegated mechanical and electrical design; installation of a complete, energy-efficient heating and cooling system with non-proprietary local controls; ductwork and electrical modifications; system startup, testing, balancing, and commissioning; and delivery of as-built drawings, operating manuals, and training. The facility will remain occupied during construction. The quote template also includes separately priced option work: inspection and maintenance recommendations for other HVAC equipment at the Tonasket site, with pricing for specified unit replacements; and HVAC replacement work at a ranger station residence in Republic, including a heat pump system, circulation fan, fireplace insert, chimney work, and related electrical and ductwork tasks. Quotes must include pricing, three relevant projects from the past five years, and a project work plan with resources, technical approach, and quality control plan. A 20% bid bond is required only when the total priced quote exceeds $150,000.
