Description
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service seeks a contractor to remove and dispose of the existing bunkhouse HVAC equipment and furnish and install a new heat pump and indoor air handler capable of heating and cooling the facility. The replacement system must have a two-stage compressor, a 16 SEER rating, and components suitable for a coastal environment. Work includes any necessary ductwork, flue, gas-line, drain-line, and electrical upgrades; cleaning existing ducts; balancing airflow; and providing eight MERV-13 filters. The contractor must also complete applicable energy rebate applications, provide operating and maintenance training, and legally dispose of the old equipment and debris. The contractor must provide a fixed-price quote with a cost breakdown for labor, materials, equipment, the HVAC unit, freight, overhead, and profit. The solicitation requires a completed Standard Form 1442, signed amendments if applicable, pricing for the quote schedule, and applicable representations and certifications. The work is scheduled to begin January 14, 2027, and must be completed by February 15, 2027.
