Description
The County seeks a qualified HVAC contractor to furnish labor, equipment, materials, permits, disposal, and related work to replace three complete systems, each with an outdoor condensing unit and an attic air handler. The scope includes site assessment and verification, refrigerant line sets, condensate drainage and overflow protection, electrical and control components, duct reconnection and airflow verification, equipment supports, refrigerant recovery and disposal, and system startup, testing, and commissioning. Proposed equipment requires County approval before ordering, and equivalent products are acceptable. Bids must provide a complete separate price for each system and a lump-sum total for all three. The contractor must include after-hours work in its base price, provide startup and equipment documentation, and provide manufacturer warranties and at least a one-year labor/workmanship warranty. The solicitation requests three references. Performance and payment bonds are required of the successful bidder; the performance bond is due after award. Several certifications and vendor forms are listed under “Prior to Award,” rather than as bid-time submission items.
