Description
The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Public Safety Communications Research (PSCR) Division requires the reinstallation and configuration of an existing high-speed optical motion capture system. This system is used for large-scale immersive virtual reality and indoor localization tracking, essential for evaluating prototype indoor localization systems for public safety. The new system must be fully compatible with existing OptiTrack cameras and Motive software. The contractor will be responsible for installing, configuring, and calibrating 62 PrimeX 13 cameras, including Ethernet cable installation. The scope also includes hardware expansion with passive and active marker kits compatible with existing OptiTrack hardware and Motive software, as well as software licenses for markerless capture and base tracking for three years. The place of performance is NIST-Boulder, with installation and configuration to be completed within 60 days After Receipt of Order (ARO).
