Description
This project involves construction of safety improvements at three intersections in Denver's Montbello neighborhood: Peoria Street at 44th Avenue (median modification and partial signal installation), Peoria Street at 46th Avenue (new signal, ADA compliance, and sidewalk/median work), and 47th Avenue west of Peoria Street at Paris Street (widening and raised median with right-in/right-out restrictions). The work includes removal of existing infrastructure such as concrete pavement, sidewalks, curb and gutter, and asphalt, followed by the installation of new concrete pavement, sidewalks, curb and gutter, medians, traffic signals, lighting, and pavement markings. Various materials and services are required, including aggregate base course, hot mix asphalt, reinforced concrete pipe, electrical conduit, traffic signal poles, controllers, and pedestrian push buttons. Additionally, the project encompasses construction surveying, mobilization, traffic control, erosion control, and landscaping.
