Description
The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) at its Boulder, Colorado campus requires construction services to replace the existing steam tunnel ventilation system. This project involves removing the current system, which includes steam heating coils, and installing two new natural gas indirect-fired makeup air units (MAUs). The scope of work includes all associated systems for safe, reliable, and continuous ventilation. Work is planned to be performed between May 1 and October 31 to mitigate the risk of pipes freezing. The contract type will be Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP).
