Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or services for BK Technology radios, issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) by the U.S. Navy. The acquisition is set aside for small business concerns. Additional radios are required to support safe and efficient fuel operations, enhancing operational safety and reducing the risk of communication gaps. The radios must be compatible with existing communications hardware and software, including channel programming, chargers, batteries, microphones, and carrying holsters. Transitioning to an alternative vendor would require replacing this supplementary inventory, resulting in unacceptable duplication of costs. The specific item requested is a portable handheld radio with Tier 2.5, All-Band Capability, 5000 channels, front and top display, partial keypad, black housing, channel stop, belt clip, one base frequency, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, Digital CAI Operation, DES & ADP Encryption, and a 5-year warranty. The brand name is BK Technologies.
