Description
This solicitation is for Phase 1 of the Tower Road Sanitary Sewer Interceptor rehabilitation project. The scope of work includes rehabilitating the interceptor from 59th to 68th Avenue. This involves eight point repairs and approximately 5,974 feet of cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) lining. The project will require excavations up to 30 feet deep, replacement of manholes and pipes, and implementation of traffic control measures. Bypass pumping will also be necessary during the work. The project includes various line items for removal of existing infrastructure such as concrete curb and gutter, sidewalk accessibility concrete curb ramp, 42" sanitary sewer pipe, and sanitary manholes. It also includes the installation of new infrastructure like 6" diameter PVC pipe, 18" diameter PVC pipe, 27" diameter PVC pipe, and 42" diameter RPM PBY open cut pipe. Additionally, the project requires the installation of 6' diameter precast manholes, concrete collars, and utility exploratory investigation. Restoration work includes crushed gravel base course, 6" curb and gutter, sidewalk accessibility concrete curb ramp, security fence, asphalt surface course, asphalt base course, and asphalt patch. Other work includes existing utility location/coordination/relocation, pre-video inspection and cleaning of the 42" diameter sanitary sewer pipe, and bypass pumping for the 42" diameter sanitary sewer pipe. Landscaping improvements, traffic control (including concrete barrier/K-rail), stormwater management, dewatering, quality control testing, pavement marking, and construction surveying are also part of the scope. Mobilization is also included.
