Description
This project involves extending the demising wall in Building 1, Wing 6, at the NIST Boulder campus to seal a gap between Wing 6 and the Spine corridor. The work includes sealing wall penetrations with fire-rated materials. An optional scope includes reconstructing storage room #4089, installing new hollow metal door frames and doors with security hardware, sealing penetrations, and potentially adding fire sprinkler protection and interior lighting and signage. The contractor will be responsible for all labor, materials, site protection, and debris removal in accordance with NIST campus safety and construction requirements. Key dates include a site visit on July 2, 2026, questions due July 6, 2026, and proposals due July 15, 2026.
