Description
The National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA), specifically the Institute for Telecommunication Sciences (ITS), requires the removal of existing fencing and the installation of new fencing at the Table Mountain Field Site in Longmont, Colorado. The estimated price range for this construction project is between $1,000,000 and $2,500,000. A site visit is highly recommended and will be held on June 17, 18, and 22, 2026, between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM Mountain Time at 8600 North 39th Street, Longmont, Colorado 80503. Offerors are limited to two representatives per company for the site visit, and attendee names must be submitted to Jacqueline Brown at Jbrown4@doc.gov by June 16, 2026, at 1:00 PM Mountain Time. The new fence will be 7-foot plus 1-foot chain link fence, with posts set to specific depths and diameters in concrete footers. The project includes replacing the West gate (16-foot cantilever) and North gate (28-foot cantilever), and installing two 24-foot walkthrough gates. Additionally, "No Trespassing" signs will be installed along the fence. Site preparation involves clearing vegetation and debris, and existing fence will be left in place where it does not interfere with new installation. The fence posts are to be 2 7/8" diameter terminal posts and 2 3/8" diameter line posts, spaced at 120". A 1 5/8" diameter top rail and a 3-strand barbed wire topping are also specified. The work must adhere to CDOT regulation m-607-2 Chain Link Fence and gates.
