Description
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, through the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health’s Pittsburgh Mining Research Division, is soliciting one new, complete Tormach 1100MX CNC Mill Premium Package. The required configuration includes the mill, enclosure, stand, PathPilot software and operator console, automatic tool changer, electronic tool setter, flood coolant system, probes, transformer, workholding, tooling, and all other components necessary for a functional rapid-prototyping and precision-machining system. No alternate CNC milling system will be accepted, although equivalent accessories may be proposed where expressly permitted and fully compatible. The quotation must include firm-fixed pricing covering equipment, accessories, tooling, software, freight, inside delivery, manufacturer-standard installation, setup, startup, a minimum one-year manufacturer warranty, and at least three years of manufacturer technical support. The contractor must be Tormach, Inc. or an OEM-authorized reseller/distributor capable of providing the complete configuration and applicable warranty and support. Delivery is required within 60 calendar days after award, followed by installation, setup, and startup within 60 calendar days after the Government confirms that the relocated installation site is ready. Quotations must also address the solicitation’s AI-use disclosure requirements; an AI Compliance and Risk Management Plan is required if planned or potential AI use is identified.
