Description
Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office is soliciting bids for an Axeon R1-3140 reverse osmosis system, or equal, with a prefilter producing 5,400 gallons per day of permeate water at 220V, 50–60 Hz, single phase. The system must include specified membrane housings, stainless-steel pump, flow meters, prefilter, low-energy membrane elements, controls, monitoring and alarm features, a wheeled cart, and a one-year limited warranty. The solicitation also requires four mixed bed tanks with semiconductor-grade ion-exchange resin, associated hoses and pressure setter, full installation and programming of controls, delivery, and staff training upon completion. Bidders must submit the electronic bid and required supporting materials, including the response template, veteran-owned small-business participation documents and proof of veteran ownership, insurance documentation, required vendor documentation, MWDBE participation documentation or waiver materials, EEO and general-terms acceptances, addenda acknowledgments when applicable, and the Vendor Internal Sustainability Profile. The contract period is November 1, 2026, through February 28, 2027, with an option to extend for up to three months. Insurance requirements include automobile liability, commercial general liability, professional liability/pollution, workers' compensation and employers' liability, and umbrella liability coverage.
