Description
The Virgin Islands Port Authority is soliciting bids for veterinary and onboarding services for its police canines. The scope includes annual wellness examinations; influenza, heartworm/tick, Bordetella, rabies, and Lyme vaccinations; regular-hours and emergency office visits; general dental work; blood work, CBC testing, and X-rays; and daily boarding services. Veterinary services must be provided by a licensed, board-certified veterinary medical professional located on St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, with all labor and equipment necessary to perform the services. Bidders must submit pricing for each bid line and provide a respondent proposal covering qualifications, certifications, personnel, experience, and additional services. The submission also requires business and corporate documentation, insurance, references, and responses to required certifications and questionnaires. The anticipated contract term is three years with two one-year renewal options, and electronic bids must be submitted through the Authority's eProcurement site.
