Description
San Luis Obispo County is soliciting proposals from qualified firms or teams to survey the reference-point elevations of approximately 130 wells in the existing Paso Robles Basin Groundwater Monitoring Network. Each elevation must be surveyed to the North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD88) with accuracy of 0.1 foot or less. Most wells are on private property, so the consultant must coordinate landowner notifications and obtain permission before field access. Required deliverables include final well elevation data in Microsoft Excel and GIS shapefile formats, site photographs documenting each well and relevant conditions, field notes and other survey information, and summaries of communications with well landowners. The contract is planned as a time-and-materials agreement with a not-to-exceed amount of $200,000 and a one-year term from the date of award. Proposals must include separate technical and cost proposal PDF files, with the technical proposal addressing firm qualifications, staffing, references, scope, work plan, schedule, milestones, deliverables, and resumes for key personnel. Prevailing-wage requirements apply, and the selected proposer must meet the County's insurance requirements before work begins.
