Description
The City and County of Butte-Silver Bow is soliciting proposals from qualified surveying firms to improve its cadastral framework through corner recordation and survey control work at 69 points across the county. The selected consultant will develop a Survey Control Point Collection and Corner Recordation Plan, coordinate with Butte-Silver Bow Land Records and GIS representatives, obtain landowner access, research existing corner records and related evidence, survey approved control points, and provide photographs and precise monument locations. Monumentation of corner points is excluded from the scope. Required deliverables include certified corner recordation documents, adjusted coordinates submitted in the Montana Control Point Database spreadsheet, original field data and metadata, network adjustment results, consolidated PDF records, and related digital geospatial data meeting specified Montana and federal accuracy and interoperability standards. The work must be performed by or under the direct supervision of a Montana-licensed land surveyor and includes project coordination, reporting, and participation in agency meetings and site visits. Proposals must include a signed cover letter, three similar-project references, prior claims information, and a proposal addressing the project elements and selection criteria.
