Description
The City of Escondido is soliciting proposals from qualified consultants to provide licensed land surveying services on an as-needed basis. The scope includes field surveys, monumentation, corner records, plats and legal descriptions, subdivision and parcel map review and certification, easement analysis, boundary line adjustments, certificates of compliance, transfer deed reviews, property-line and right-of-way research, utility easement delineation, AutoCAD base preparation, and restoration of survey markers. The selected consultant or consultants will support the City's engineering, utility, real property, planning, and land-development activities. Services also include recurring surveys of Lake Dixon and Lake Wohlford Dams every other month and within 24 hours after seismic events, beginning July 1, 2027, as well as other task-order services. Proposals are limited to 15 pages and must include a cover letter, company and key-personnel qualifications, at least three similar completed projects with references, rate sheets, and the completed Licensed Land Surveyor Confirmation Form. The agreement has a two-year initial term with three additional one-year options, for a maximum term of five years.
