Description
The University of California, managing and operating Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, seeks a subcontractor to complete the detailed design of the Advanced Light Source Upgrade Storage Ring power-supply rack assemblies. The scope covers 76 racks in 16 configurations: six Standard Sector layouts, six Hard Bend Sector layouts, and four ATS/STA transfer-line layouts. Required deliverables include Autodesk Inventor 3D models with native source files; detailed rack assembly and production drawings; documentation packages for mechanical parts, enclosures, and copper bus bars; electrical diagrams; interconnect and cable-harness designs; and responses to vendor questions, material-submittal reviews, and drawing updates during procurement and production. The contractor must provide weekly status updates, support design reviews and LBNL approval cycles, and complete the design and documentation packages no later than January 31, 2027. The proposal must include a technical approach, delivery schedule, principal-personnel resumes, relevant past performance, quality-assurance and configuration-control information, a completed supplier quality evaluation survey, representations and certifications, and pricing for the fixed-price design effort and hourly post-design support. Optional information may be submitted regarding future rack production, assembly, and testing.
