Description
The California Highway Patrol is soliciting bids for annual roof maintenance and inspection services at the Inyo-Kern Resident Post and detached outbuildings. The contractor must furnish all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, materials, and supplies; remove debris; clean gutters, downspouts, drains, and roof surfaces; inspect roof systems and related components; document deficiencies with photographs and inspection checklists; and provide timely reports to CHP. Services are to be performed during normal business hours, with a three-day notice before regular maintenance visits. Miscellaneous repairs are not funded under the agreement, although the contractor may submit separate repair proposals. The resulting agreement is anticipated to run from January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2029, with annual maintenance and inspection services. Bidders must hold a valid California Contractors State License Board C-39 Roofing Contractor license and be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations. The award will be made to the responsive and responsible bidder offering the lowest evaluated cost. A mandatory site walk-through is required, and the solicitation requires a sealed, signed bid package with specified attachments and supporting business, licensing, registration, and reference documentation.
