Description
Kern County is seeking one new and unused industrial electric sit-down counterbalanced forklift. The forklift must be 100% battery-electric, have a minimum 5,000-pound capacity at a 24-inch load center, a three-stage full free-lift mast with at least 187 inches of lift height, hydraulic side-shift and fork positioning, solid pneumatic tires, a lithium-ion battery supporting a full normal work shift, regenerative braking, power steering, an automatic parking brake, specified operator-safety equipment, and required displays and lighting. The quotation must include a manufacturer-approved charger compatible with the facility's available 208-volt, single-phase, 20-amp service, delivery of the fully assembled, charged, tested, and operational forklift, operator familiarization and maintenance/charging training, manuals, warranty information, local authorized service capability, and any required electrical upgrades. The bidder must complete and return the County's quotation request, pricing sheet, and specification compliance materials, including exception details and signatures on every specification sheet. Delivery is to General Services Fleet, and the County may reject equipment that does not comply with the specifications after inspection.
