Description
This public-works bid seeks a prime contractor to provide a complete, functioning HVAC system for the Vista Continuation High School New Campus. The scope includes HVAC equipment and split-system air conditioners, packaged outdoor air-handling units, metal ductwork and accessories, ventilators, insulated refrigerant piping, supports, seismic and vibration controls, diffusers, dampers, louvers, roof penetrations, condensate provisions, fire-alarm interfaces, testing, adjusting and balancing, commissioning, documentation, warranties, and owner training. The work also includes mechanical systems for the commercial kitchen, including hoods, an Ansul fire-suppression system, make-up air, grease duct, vents, and exhaust fans, as well as a complete controls system with programming and training. The contractor must submit required project documents through Procore, comply with prevailing-wage and public-works requirements, and be prequalified under the specified California contractor-license classifications. The estimated bid value is $2,187,660, with a 490-calendar-day project duration and required bid, payment, and performance security.
