Description
Kern County is seeking two new, unused, current-model roll-off trucks for commercial roll-off, refuse, and landfill operations. Each vehicle must have an automatic transmission, automatic tarping system, heavy-duty construction, specified chassis and engine capabilities, and a roll-off assembly compatible with containers up to 8 feet by 8 feet by 22 feet. The solicitation requires bidders to complete and return the quotation request, vehicle specifications, and pricing sheet. Vehicles must be delivered to the County's Public Works Fleet facility, inspected for compliance, and supported by parts and service within a 72-hour request window. The specifications also require warranty coverage, including a 12-month/100,000-mile warranty, and local warranty or mobile repair support.
