Kern County is requesting firm pricing for a broad range of police supplies and equipment, including handcuffs and restraints, holsters, duty belts, magazine and equipment pouches, flashlights, raincoats, first-responder kits, ballistic helmets, face shields, shields, pepper spray, tactical batons, and related accessories. Vendors must provide manufacturer and part-number information, unit and extended pricing, estimated annual usage pricing, product availability, warranties, and delivery throughout Kern County. Products must be new, unused, in original manufacturer packaging, and substitutions require written approval. The resulting price agreement is for an initial three-year term, with two optional one-year extensions. The vendor must maintain stock of at least 70% of listed products, provide complete deliveries and usage reports, and accept orders by purchase order, email, fax, telephone, or sales representative call. Responses must use the County quotation request form and include completed specifications, pricing schedules, vendor qualification information, and any exceptions. A local vendor preference worksheet may be submitted if applicable.
