Description
The City of Gretna is soliciting bids for the modernization of one hydraulic passenger elevator at Gretna City Hall. The work includes engineering, labor, materials, equipment, removal and installation activities, a new hydraulic power unit, operational controls, door operating equipment, signal fixtures, car interior finishes, hydraulic and electrical components, emergency communication and battery-rescue systems, code-required testing, permits, inspections, and related building work. The bid must include a twelve-month warranty preventive-maintenance program and pricing for a three-year preventive-maintenance agreement with two possible one-year extensions. Bidders must complete the provided bid form, including modernization pricing, maintenance pricing, labor rates, proposed installation schedule, proposed modernization components and technology, subcontractor information, an affidavit, and a corporate resolution. A mandatory pre-bid meeting, building walkthrough, and equipment survey are scheduled, and the project must be completed by December 31, 2027.
