Description
West Valley City Parks and Recreation is soliciting proposals for the turnkey modernization and replacement of an existing elevator installed in the late 1980s at The Ridge Golf Club. The replacement elevator must have a 2,500-pound capacity, serve two floors, and open at the front on each floor. The work includes removal and disposal of replaced equipment, code upgrades to the elevator, housing, fire and electrical components, and alarm system, along with contractor-provided material storage. Required components include a controller, hall and car operating fixtures, door operator and hardware, car door, electrical wiring, pump unit and motor, valves, jack packing, cab fan, car-top inspection equipment and lighting, car lantern, three-dimensional door-edge detector, fire tabs and door gibs, stainless-steel hall doors and rollers, and a mid-range cab interior and flooring. Proposals must describe the work, elevator downtime, completion timetable, warranty, recommended service timing, and references for similar projects. The selected contractor must provide specified commercial general liability, employer liability, and commercial auto insurance, plus 100% performance and payment bonds based on the guaranteed maximum price.
