Description
The Town of Cary is soliciting unit pricing for aggregate stone materials to support roadway maintenance, road repairs, drainage improvements, backfill, and related Public Works activities. The estimated quantities are 7,425 tons of ABC stone, 675 tons of No. 57 stone, 100 tons of surge stone, 100 tons of Class A stone, and 200 tons of screenings. Materials must meet applicable North Carolina Department of Transportation specifications and, when required, come from an NCDOT-approved source. The contract will operate on an as-needed basis, with no guaranteed purchase quantities. The Town will pick up materials from the vendor's supply facility, and the vendor must load the materials onto Town vehicles; vendor delivery is not required. Bidders must complete and sign the provided bid proposal form, identify each supply facility, provide unit pricing, and explain any approved exceptions. Pricing is fixed for the initial 60-day period, with an option for five additional six-month extensions subject to the stated conditions.
