Description
Smoky Lake County is seeking a contractor to provide gravel crushing, screening, testing, and stockpiling for its road program at White Earth Creek Pit and/or Legacy Pit. Estimated annual production is approximately 100,000 tonnes, consisting of 80,000 tonnes of 4-20 gravel and 20,000 tonnes of 4-40 gravel. Final quantities, sites, and schedules will be established through annual written work orders, and no minimum quantity is guaranteed. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, supervision, mobilization, quality control, and testing necessary to produce gravel meeting the County's specifications. Off-site hauling is excluded unless separately authorized. Proposals must include firm annual pricing for 2027, 2028, and 2029; relevant experience; three comparable references; equipment and production capacity; contingency plans; and quality, safety, and environmental procedures. Evaluation will consider cost, experience, equipment capacity and scheduling, quality control, and safety and environmental practices.
