Description
Teton County's Road & Bridge Department is soliciting bids for gravel crushing and processing at the Driggs Gravel Pit. The contractor must provide equipment, labor, on-site supervision, mobilization, material blending, pit-floor preparation and grading, stockpile management, and production of 3/8-inch chips, 2-inch-minus crushed gravel, and 3/4-inch crushed gravel. Estimated quantities are 3,000 tons of chips, 15,000 tons of 2-inch-minus gravel, and 22,000 tons of 3/4-inch gravel; final payment will be based on actual accepted quantities. The contractor is responsible for qualified laboratory testing, gradation sampling, reporting, compliance with specified aggregate gradations, maintaining drainage and preventing stockpile contamination, and providing all equipment, materials, and supplies. Work must be substantially completed by June 1, 2027. The agreement provides for payment of up to $250,000, requires general liability, workers' compensation, and vehicle liability insurance, and requires 100% payment and performance bonds at contract execution.
