Description
Wood County is soliciting bids for the production of approximately 30,000 tons of 3/4-inch base aggregate dense at the Wood County Highway Department’s Smith Pit quarry. The work includes drilling, blasting, crushing, stockpiling, sampling, and testing the aggregate. Contractors must comply with all applicable state and federal regulations. Specifications, bidding procedures, and forms are available from the Highway Commissioner’s Office. The county reserves the right to reject any or all bids or accept the bid it considers most advantageous.
