Description
The City of Lincoln, Nebraska, is soliciting per-ton pricing for the supply, hauling, and delivery of approximately 35,500 tons of 1.5-inch crush-and-run rock surface-course material to ten designated stockpiles in Lancaster County. Deliveries include estimated quantities ranging from 1,500 to 10,000 tons per site, with hauling restricted to State highways for certain locations. The vendor must provide hauling equipment, including a track loader for stockpiling, coordinate delivery schedules, provide weigh tickets, and submit daily gradation test results. The material must meet the Nebraska Department of Roads Standard Specifications for Highway Construction, 2017 edition, Section 1033 requirements. Deliveries must be completed no later than January 30, 2027. The response requires electronic bid submission, completion of required electronic bid attributes, pricing for each line item, and applicable certification forms. Insurance coverage and endorsements are required before work begins, including commercial general liability, automobile liability, workers' compensation, and employers' liability coverage.
