Description
Contra Costa County seeks one to three contractors to provide on-call maintenance, repair, and replacement of plumbing systems at County facilities. The scope includes water, drainage, sewer, gas, and other piping systems; plumbing fixtures and equipment; trenching and excavation; and related work. Contractors must provide labor, tools, equipment, transportation, and supervision, and hold the required California plumbing contractor license or qualifying general building contractor license with appropriate in-house plumbing capability. The contractor must provide emergency plumbing response 24 hours a day, seven days a week, acknowledge emergency requests within 30 minutes, and have qualified personnel on-site within two hours. The solicitation also requests hourly labor rates and markups for materials, equipment, and subcontracted work. The initial contract term is five years. The County requires at least five years of plumbing maintenance and repair experience, at least three customer references, and submission of a proposal of no more than 15 pages, along with the specified experience, pricing, reference, anti-collusion, addenda acknowledgment, license/permit, and insurance materials.
