Description
Russell County USD 407 seeks a qualified, licensed HVAC or mechanical contractor to remove and replace the heating system serving an approximately 2,500-square-foot, three-bay mechanic shop. The work includes supplying and installing a properly sized heating system, controls and thermostats, and any necessary gas lines, ductwork, vents, connections, and related components. Contractors are expected to evaluate existing conditions and recommend an appropriate system for the shop’s use. The project includes removal and disposal of existing equipment, required labor, materials, permits and inspections, code-compliant installation, coordination to minimize disruption to school operations, and testing and commissioning. Proposals must include total project cost, system specifications and capacity, supporting work, estimated timeline and duration, warranty information, exclusions or additional costs, and contractor licensing, contact information, and relevant experience. A completed bid sheet is required. The contractor must be licensed, bonded, and insured; progress or partial payments will not be considered.
