Description
Contra Costa County seeks qualified California-licensed electrical contractors to provide on-call installation, testing, maintenance, repairs, and upgrades for County electrical infrastructure. The primary work involves airport runway and taxiway lighting and signage, traffic signals, and traffic detection loops; other work may include general electrical systems, lighting, emergency and backup power, and related components. Contractors must provide labor, supervision, equipment, tools, test instruments, transportation, and materials, and submit estimates for authorized work orders. Emergency response may be required, including 24-hour service where needed. The County anticipates multiple awards for an initial three-year term with two optional one-year extensions, with an estimated combined procurement value of approximately $5 million and no guaranteed minimum work. Proposals require a technical narrative, staffing information, completed proposal exhibits and attachments, and copies of applicable licenses and registrations. Proof of insurance is required before contract execution, not with the proposal.
