The State of Connecticut is soliciting contractors to inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and provide preventive maintenance for commercial kitchen equipment at state agency and Department of Correction facilities. Covered equipment includes commercial refrigeration, cooking, warewashing, and food-preparation equipment, excluding Hobart dishwashers. Services include equipment inspections, written repair estimates, authorized corrective repairs, operational testing, replacement of current-production OEM parts, and one-year repair and parts warranties. Preventive maintenance may be requested on an annual, semiannual, or quarterly basis and must include equipment-specific inspections, cleaning, adjustments, testing, temperature and component checks where applicable, and written service reports. Contractors must provide qualified technicians, maintain 24/7 service-request and dispatch capability, meet specified response times, comply with site-security requirements, and provide pricing by county, technician category, parts markup, and preventive-maintenance frequency. The contract term is November 1, 2026, through October 31, 2029, with possible extensions.
