Description
The Seattle Housing Authority is seeking vendors to provide on-call janitorial services for 28 residential and commercial properties. The scope includes routine cleaning of common areas, offices, restrooms, stairwells, halls, elevators, windows and glass, carpets, hard floors, furniture, waste and recycling receptacles, and community spaces. Services also include day porter coverage, after-hours work as assigned, graffiti removal, waste handling, quarterly deep cleaning, carpet extraction and shampooing, floor stripping, waxing, buffing, and other specialty floor-care services. Vendors must provide labor, equipment, tools, cleaning products, supplies, personal protective equipment, and closed-loop chemical-dilution systems, and must follow sustainable-cleaning, safety, reporting, prevailing-wage, and Section 3 requirements. Proposals are limited to 10 pages excluding specified items and must include a cover letter, responses to the evaluation criteria, pricing using the provided pricing table, key-personnel resumes, at least three similar-work references from the last five years, a Vendor Fact Sheet, and suspension and debarment compliance certificates. SHA anticipates awarding contracts to at least two vendors; work assignments, properties, and hours will be issued through annual work orders and may increase or decrease.
