The Town of Los Altos Hills is soliciting a contractor to provide scheduled janitorial services at seven town properties: Town Hall, the Parks and Recreation Building, Heritage House, the Corporation Yard, Purissima Park Restrooms, the Snack Shack, and Westwind Barn. The contractor must furnish all labor, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, transportation, uniforms, and environmentally preferable cleaning products. Services include trash and recycling removal, floor and carpet care, surface cleaning and disinfection, restroom and kitchen cleaning, dispenser restocking, dusting, window cleaning, and specialized cleaning of Heritage House wood surfaces and hardwood floors. The scope also includes as-requested carpet cleaning at Town Hall and annual interior and exterior window cleaning at three facilities. The contractor must self-perform the required janitorial services, conduct employee background and security checks, adjust schedules around town activities, and provide documentation for recycled-content and recyclability requirements for paper products. The initial term is three years beginning January 1, 2027, with an option for two additional years. Proposals must include a company and key personnel introduction, services detail statement, fee schedule, completed Business Statement and References form, applicable licenses or certifications, and any proposed agreement exceptions.
