Description
The Government of Canada is seeking a contractor to provide routine, periodic, and as-needed commercial cleaning services for its embassy facilities in Beirut. The scope covers approximately 3,550 square meters at the chancery, including offices, reception areas, corridors, stairwells, kitchens, washrooms, storage rooms, parking spaces, and other designated areas. Services include sweeping, vacuuming, floor care, carpet cleaning, dusting, disinfection, waste and recycling management, window and glass cleaning, kitchen and washroom cleaning, and periodic deep-cleaning tasks. The contractor must provide the required personnel, equipment, tools, cleaning products, uniforms, and supplies not furnished by the Mission. The solicitation requires a minimum on-site presence of five cleaning personnel and a supervisor, prohibits subcontracting the cleaning duties, and requires personnel to obtain the specified security clearances and medical documentation. As-needed services may include after-event, emergency, after-hours, exterior, and special-project cleaning, subject to written pre-approval. The initial contract period is December 1, 2026, through November 30, 2028, with up to three additional one-year option periods and a possible four-month transition extension.
