Description
The U.S. Department of Commerce, on behalf of the National Telecommunications and Information Administration’s Institute for Telecommunication Sciences, is soliciting a firm-fixed-price quote from a small business for renovation of the Table Mountain T1 and B9 buildings. The work includes replacement of windows and doors; HVAC replacement; electrical-panel upgrades and new circuits, outlets, lighting, and wiring; flooring replacement or polymer coating; ADA bathroom renovations; roof and gutter work; exterior and interior elastomeric painting; deck replacement; and improvements to the communications shelter. The contractor must provide a design-build approach before construction. The quote must include a technical quote and a price quote using the provided price schedule. The technical quote must address the project-management plan, work schedule, milestones, technical approach, relevant experience, and up to three similar past-performance references completed within the previous three years. The technical quote is limited to 15 pages, and the past-performance section is limited to four pages; resumes are limited to two pages per key person. Quotes must be submitted electronically in a Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, or searchable PDF format, with the required formatting and a firm-fixed price for each building. The base performance period is 120 calendar days from award, with a possible extension of up to six months under the referenced option clause.
