Description
The National Institute of Standards and Technology is soliciting a firm-fixed-price quotation from a small business to relocate office equipment and furnishings from the FirstNet Building at 3122 Sterling Circle to NIST Building 3 at 325 Broadway in Boulder, Colorado. The scope includes providing a moving vehicle and operator, a three- to four-person moving crew, moving equipment and materials, packing and preparing property for secure transport, transporting and unpacking the property, and potentially disposing of items at a dump. The move is expected to be completed in one business day, with pickup anticipated from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and delivery from 2:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The inventory includes approximately 20 boxes of loose items, partitions requiring disassembly, ladders, chairs, cabinets, desks, refrigerators, kitchen fixtures, shelving, tables, a bed, televisions, monitors, workstations, and server racks. Specialized care is required for IT equipment, including approximately 10 workstations, 15 30-inch monitors, four large televisions, miscellaneous computer equipment, and two server racks. The contractor must protect carpet and flooring, provide required safety equipment and training, comply with NIST campus access and escort requirements, and obtain low-risk background investigations for applicable personnel. The quotation must include technical, price, and terms-and-conditions volumes; award is expected to be a single firm-fixed-price purchase order to the lowest-priced technically acceptable quoter.
