Description
The Town of Frederick is soliciting proposals for PFAS remediation at its Public Works property. The scope includes investigating and excavating PFAS-impacted soil, removing concrete pads associated with the former firefighting training facility, hauling the impacted material, disposing of or incinerating it, placing approximately 60 cubic yards of backfill, and completing seeding and remediation sampling. The proposal must address the project approach and methodology, project team and key personnel, qualifications, experience, schedule, and pricing. The solicitation requires at least five years of continuous environmental investigation, remediation, or hazardous-waste-management experience and at least three completed PFAS-related projects within the past seven years, including one involving soil or groundwater remediation under state or federal oversight. A contractor's license is required.
