Description
Boulder County, in partnership with the City of Boulder, seeks a contractor for the Longmont-to-Boulder (LoBo) Trail Jay Road Connection Project. The work includes approximately 1,100 linear feet of trail adjacent to an existing irrigation lateral and approximately 875 linear feet of lateral enclosure in 24-inch reinforced concrete pipe, along with concrete and soft-surface trail construction, drainage structures and piping, fencing, tree removal and trimming, erosion control, traffic control, pedestrian signals, lighting, utility coordination, prairie dog management, and site restoration. The specifications require the contractor to provide labor, materials, equipment, permits, quality control, traffic management, environmental protections, and coordination with affected utilities and agencies. The base bid is listed as $200,000, with bid alternatives of $18,000 for open-space work and $36,000 for City of Boulder work. A bid bond equal to 5% of the bid is required when bid security is required under the instructions, and the submission must include the bid tabulation, references for three similar projects completed within the last three years, a bid bond, certificate of insurance, W-9, and vendor information form, along with required portal acknowledgments.
