Description
The New Jersey Turnpike Authority is seeking Expressions of Interest from qualified professional engineering firms to provide construction supervision and inspection services for miscellaneous structural repairs to Structure No. 127.2N under Order for Professional Services No. P4302. The work includes supervision and inspection of structural and superstructure steel repairs, steel strengthening, catwalk and climbing-aid repairs, seismic-isolation-bearing replacement, substructure repairs, and barrier expansion-plate repairs in Middlesex County, New Jersey. Services also include construction-material inspection and certification, as-built records, schedule and claims review, maintenance and protection of traffic coordination, CapEx reporting, shop-drawing review, testing-laboratory management, progress meetings, and closeout deliverables. Eligible firms must be prequalified under Profile Code B156, Bridge Repair Inspection, and have a current New Jersey Turnpike Authority Professional Service Prequalification Questionnaire on file. The submission requires a Letter of Interest, resumes, organizational chart, staffing estimate, project schedule, proposed-staff information, and completed supplemental forms. The Letter of Interest is limited to five pages, while the overall EOI is limited to 19 pages excluding specified supporting documents. The Authority will evaluate firm and personnel experience, project understanding, approach, staffing commitment, quality management, and SBE/DVOB participation. The SBE goal is 25% and the DVOB goal is 3% of the assignment, with good-faith-effort alternatives permitted. The anticipated service period runs from February 2027 through November 2028, with administrative closeout anticipated in February 2029.
