Description
The California High-Speed Rail Authority is soliciting bids for right-of-way clearance and demolition services at a single-family home, garage, well, and septic system. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, materials, permits, disposal, site grading, backfilling, utility disconnection, debris removal, and related site restoration. The scope includes testing and/or abatement of friable and non-friable asbestos and lead-based paint; hazardous-material transportation and disposal; stormwater pollution prevention and water-pollution-control services; dust control; and preparation of safety, demolition, asbestos-abatement, lead-abatement, and stormwater plans. Required qualifications include specified California contractor licenses and certifications, including Class A or Class B/C-21, ASB or C-22, C-57, HAZ, QSD/QSP, lead-removal, hazardous-waste transporter, hazardous-materials transportation, DIR, and motor-carrier credentials. The agreement is expected to run from December 1, 2026, or later approval, through November 30, 2027, with one optional 12-month extension.
