Description
The City of Raleigh is seeking one or more qualified firms to provide comprehensive professional foodservice design and consulting services for the Raleigh Convention Center Expansion. The scope includes programming and needs assessment; schematic, design-development, and construction-document services; commercial foodservice equipment plans, schedules, specifications, elevations, utility rough-in drawings, and fabrication details; and bid/procurement support. The selected consultant will coordinate with the City, design team, construction manager, operator/caterer, engineers, and authorities having jurisdiction. Construction-phase services include shop-drawing and product-data review, responses to RFIs and substitutions, site observations, start-up and commissioning, punch-list preparation, closeout documentation, warranties compilation, and owner staff-training coordination. The project is a new approximately 322,646-gross-square-foot, three-floor facility with kitchens, catering and warewashing areas, service pantries, concessions, cafés, bars, storage, and related back-of-house spaces.
